ABOUT US
The three principals of Brooks, Hughes & Jones combine to bring decades of
investment industry experience and insight to a limited number of client relationships.
We work with all clients as a team to bring the best ideas of three professionals to
address your needs.
Brooks, Hughes & Jones was founded in 2009 upon the merger of The Harvey–Jones
Company and Financial Life Design.
Nancy Harvey Jones, CFP®
Nancy has over 20 years of experience managing investment
portfolios for a variety of clients. In 1985 she couldn’t find a financial
advisor who met her needs so she decided to become that advisor
for others. She focuses her efforts on client relationships with high-
touch service.
In 1987 Nancy formed The Harvey-Jones Company, a Registered
Investment Advisory firm, to provide financial planning and money
management expertise to a select clientele.
Nancy, a native of Seattle, graduated from Connecticut College with a degree in Art
History. She and her husband David raised their two sons on Dumas Bay in Federal
Way where they resided for 25 years. Since 1996 they have made their home in Friday
Harbor in the San Juan Islands where David has served as Mayor. They also spend
time with family and business at their condo on Seattle’s Lake Union.
Prior to becoming a financial services professional, Nancy was an elementary teacher
at Spring Valley Montessori School. She has volunteered extensively serving as Vice
Chair of the King County Arts Commission, Chair of the City of Federal Way Arts
Commission, and Chairman and financial officer of the San Juan County Land Bank.
